Debi Kabisch, ARNP

Debi Kabisch, ARNP, graduated from University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1996, then completed her Master of Arts degree in Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing at Vanderbilt University in 2001. Debi is licensed by the State of Washington as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) . She is well versed and experienced in assessing, diagnosing and treating child and adult mental disorders – having worked in community mental health for over a decade in King County. She transitioned to Pierce County to be closer to her family.

Debi is a sought-after practitioner due to her reputation as a caring, expert clinician. She is known as a provider that will go the extra mile, spending the time necessary to provide only the highest quality care. She provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management with special attention to individual needs, including attention to each patient’s history, his or her specific context, and stressful or traumatic life experiences. Debi believes that medications may assist greatly during recovery in certain situations, but are not all inclusive. She elicits each patient’s concerns about, or fears of medication, all of which she approaches with patience, warmth, understanding, and helpful explanations that facilitate treatment and the patient’s sense of comfort and trust. Debi is flexible and integrative in her approach to meet the needs and desired outcomes of each individual. She sees patients for a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosis, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, and Bipolar Disorder.
